I COACH PEOPLE TO HEAL THEMSELVES FROM THEIR OWN SUFFERING
ONLY YOU HAVE THE POWER TO HEAL YOURSELF
Healing is up to you.
We can have as many healing sessions, psychologist check ins and SSRI (selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor) pills as you want, this doesn’t heal the deepened old wounds called a neurological patterns firing off every time they’re triggered.
We might feel good for a few days, weeks or even months… Then all of a sudden, we crash.
Because there’s no foundation, no pillars of support. We haven’t created healthy mental habits. We haven’t worked on complete awareness around our own mental tension. So of course we haven’t been able to heal the pain, that suffering that consumes us.
So, how do we heal?
We become aware. That’s actually the first step. In becoming more aware of our own thoughts, emotions, triggers and attachments to people, experiences, words said and occurrences, we begin to understand our own inner workings as to why the pain is there. We can then acknowledge the issue is there, and acknowledge that it can be healed. From there we find okay-ness and acceptance in the suffering so that we can heal and grow from these painful experiences.
But that’s up to you.
The person who believes they can heal, and the person who believes they can’t. They’re both right.
THE MOST POWERFUL PERSON IS THE ONE WHO IS THE MOST SELF AWARE
With the continuous study around mental health, we are becoming more aware of what’s truly going on in that precious noggin of ours.
We now understand that 95% of our serotonin is actually produced in the digestive tact… and only 5% in the brain. That pill we take? It only acts on the 5%.
We now know that neuroscience plays a huge role in practices like meditation and gratitude practices developing grey matter and stimulation in our frontal lobe of the brain… away from the subconscious. That place where the pain lies? The over-thinking? We can move away from that.
We now see the connection between issues like inflammation, physical fitness and diet to our mental health. How inflammation restricts serotonin, physical fitness amplifies serotonin, dopamine and endorphins, and our diet hormonally places us in a far more proactive space to heal.
You now have the power to not only heal yourself, but to help others heal too. It’s up to them, but you can provide the information, the tools and the guidelines on how to do so. Challenge yourself to become educated in the area of your own mental health, so you can further help others also in need.
Let’s normalize this mental health stigma together, and make the world a more mentally fit place to live in.
